Most prevalent in guest houses, self catering apartments and hotels, bed bugs are small blood-sucking insects that live in cracks and crevices in and around beds. They crawl out at night and bite exposed skin to feed on blood. The actual bites are harmless but many people experience a reaction to them.

Being so small, they are difficult to detect unless a complaint is raised.  A review on trip- advisor giving mention to these pests can cost you thousands of pounds in lost revenue unless you handle it correctly. 

How to treat the problem

Getting the rid of the problem yourself can be difficult and the reassurance of an expert solution will often address people’s fears if the news has got out.  We use an insecticide to treat the area and recommend that all bedding is heat treated or destroyed.
